What is tarot?

The Tarot is a symbolic map of consciousness that documents the human experience through life. Contrary to popular belief, the Tarot is not a modality for fortune-telling, but rather a tool for spiritual guidance, which enables the person receiving the reading to connect to their inner wisdom. The origin of the Tarot is unknown, however there are documented accounts of Tarot card use dating back to fourteenth century Europe.

How do I personally work with Tarot?

I use Tarot to highlight the major themes in our lives like transformation, love, renewal, loss, grief, and work. These parts of our lives are inevitable and if we understand them from a place of deep divine self-love, greater alignment occurs. This is a tool that is aimed at healing and soul evolution. These themes of relationships, career, finances, and spiritual growth are the messages that you need instead of what you want.

What happens during a tarot session?

I cleanse the cards and space. I say a prayer calling in my guides and yours. I have 26 different decks that I work with- we can choose a few oracle decks to gain a deeper understanding of what Spirit wants the message to be with Tarot.
