What is Reiki?
Reiki is a holistic practice, it helps balance the chakra centers and clear the aura that results in well-being and self-improvement.
As a practitioner, it is laying of the hands and the practitioner is used as a channel to stream Reiki into the body of the receiver. Reiki helps pathways in your body to allow an energy flow Qi, pronounced “chee”; or spiritually guided life force energy to move smoothly, a practice systematized by Dr. Mikao Usui.
Benefits of Reiki:
Reiki has been used in hospitals for every illness or pain-positive impact when received. As a medical professional, I’ve seen this used many times along with other therapeutic techniques. The body’s capable of healing itself as it’s activated and stimulated. Some effects of Reiki are:
Clear and balanced energy centers
Sensitivity to intuitive guidance
Pain relief
Mental and emotional stress relief
Deeper sleep
Stronger immune system
In-Person Reiki:
In-person sessions include the client laying on a massage table.
Physical contact is not necessary to deliver Reiki, as it is not limited by space or time. Reiki moves and arrives at the speed of intention. So sessions can be performed in-person or from any distance.
* For in-person sessions, please arrive 10 minutes before the start of your session to settle into the space.
Distant Reiki:
Distant energy healings are held over an audio call. We can use the phone if you’re in the U.S. or Zoom/Skype if you’re living abroad. Video chat is not necessary for energy healing or reading.
We discuss your current blocks, as well as what you hope to gain from this experience then will be guided into a relaxing meditative state to help your mind and body become receptive to energy balancing.
Remote sessions are just as powerful and effective as in-person sessions. Why Distant Reiki works:

While we can not change the past, we can change our perspective and emotions around it. We can call back any power that we might have lost in the past. We can create our future, by choosing our vibration in the present.

Consider that there are a host of things that we cannot see but we know they exist. For example, we cannot see wi-fi, radio or cellular phone signals but we experience their presence. Similarly, you may not comprehend how Reiki travels but you will feel its presence.
